	times of authoritarianism: Combatting designations & the\ncounterterrorism
	 framework\n\nFor decades\, the counterterrorism framework has enabled aut
	horitarian\nnarratives\, racist propaganda and often extrajudicial or arbi
	trary imprisonment\nof anyone deemed a threat to state interests. This arc
	 has spanned from\nAmerica's so-called "War on Terror\," to the negation a
	nd demonization of the\nright to resist imperialism\, occupation and war\,
	 to the political and legal\nmechanisms now being weaponized to crush diss
	ent to Western governments'\nparticipation in the ongoing genocide in Pale
	stine.\n\nWe are a coalition of anti-Zionist and anti-imperialist organiza
	tions working\nacross campaigns to defend political prisoners who have bee
	n impacted by the\nviolence of this framework. In this moment of escalatin
	g authoritarianism\, we\nbelieve international amplification and collabora
	tion across these campaigns is\ncritical.\n\nThis webinar will discuss and
	 connect the CzechElbit11\, Ulm5\, Filton25\,\nBrizeNorton6\, and Michigan
	8 campaigns to explore some of the following\nquestions:\n\n* How is the c
	ounterterrorism and proscription/designation framework used as a\nweapon a
	gainst our movements for liberation?\n\n* How can we collaborate to expose
	 and delegitimize counterterrorism laws and\nuplift resistance to genocide
	\, fascism and war profiteering?\n\n* How can we coordinate joint actions\
	, media efforts and solidarity across\ncampaigns to disable the criminaliz
	ation of people of conscience and refocus the\nnarrative on the role of ou
	r governments in genocide\, war and militarism?\n\n* What are our shared l
	egal and popular strategies to prioritize the lens of\nstrategic defense (

	emed a threat to state interests. This arc has spanned from America's so-c

	sist imperialism, occupation and war, to the political and legal mechanism
	s now being weaponized to crush dissent to Western governments' participat
	ion in the ongoing genocide in Palestine.</p><p>We are a coalition of anti
	-Zionist and anti-imperialist organizations working across campaigns to de
	fend political prisoners who have been impacted by the violence of this fr
	amework. In this moment of escalating authoritarianism, we believe interna
	tional amplification and collaboration across these campaigns is critical.
