Greenpeace: The Amazon Rainforest - Let's talk!

The Amazon Rainforest - Let's talk!

In a world full of opinions, noise, and quick reactions, we often miss spaces for real dialogue — for slowing down, listening, and connecting with one another. This evening is an invitation to do exactly that.

Join us for an open and friendly evening (in English & free of charge) dedicated to the Amazon Rainforest — one of the most vital and threatened ecosystems on our planet.

We’ll begin with a short introduction from an expert from Greenpeace, who will talk about what’s currently happening in the Amazon and why this moment is so crucial for its protection. Afterwards, participants will form small groups to explore questions like (in an Open Space–style format, where participants choose topics themselves):

Why is the Amazon so essential for life on Earth?
How are its people and ecosystems coping with the impacts of global consumption and politics?
What can we learn from Indigenous communities about living in harmony with nature?
How can we act in solidarity and support the protection of rainforests?

18:00 – Doors open
18:15 – Introduction & topic selection
