Make Türkiye queer again

🖤Ahoj, jak jistě mnoho z vás ví, v Turecku během záři probíhaly masová zatýkání kvír osob. Bylx vytáhnutx z klubů, domovů, ulic... Kvírnost v Turecku není ilegální, ale má k tomu blízko. Kvůli zákonu kriminalizujícímu "obscénnost" (ano, tento termín je opravdu vágní) je mnoho kvír osob zatýkaných na základě toho, že jejich veřejná prezentace a aktivismus je považován za nemravní a nehodící se pro děti.

Samozřejmě, že jde zas o děti, o jejichž blahobyt se nestarají, dokud nejde o "hrozbu" kvírnosti.

Ale my nebudeme mlčet. Nebudeme přihlížet této nenávisti. Chceme podpořit turecké kvírstvo našimi hlasy a rozšířit povědomí o tom, co se děje v populární destinaci na dovolené.

Přijdte tedy s námi vyjádřit svůj nesouhlas s tureckým režimem před tureckou ambasádu. Akce se bude konat

15.10. od 17:00 a pokračovat bude benefičním promítáním tureckého LGBTQ+ filmu (TBA) v Trhlině.

Jakékoliv vybrané finance zamíří tureckému kvírstvu.

🖤Hello, as many of you might be aware, during september, massive arrests of queer people took place in Turkey. They were taken out of clubs, homes, streets… Being queer is not yet illegal in Turkey, but the country moving closer and closer to outlawing it. Because of a bill criminalising “obscenity” (yes, the term is really vague), many queer people are being arrested based on their public image and activism being considered immoral and unsafe for kids.

Of course, those children, about whom they don’t give a damn about, unless its the “danger” of queerness.

But we won’t stay quiet. We won’t just sit and watch as the hate goes on. We want to support turkish queers by using our voices and spread awareness about what is happening in a popular holiday destination.

Come with us to the Turkish embassy and express your disapproval of the Turkish regime. The protest will take place 15.10 starting 17.00 and will then continue in Trhlina, where we’ll screen a Turkish LGBTQ+ movie (TBA). All raised finances will go towards the aid for Turkish queers.
