The crossroads have been a stable feature of urban planning for as long as roads existed. The whole time they have also been surrounded by an extensive lore, focus of fairy tales and superstitions, transcending time and cultures. This practical research workshop examines the intersection between crossroads as a feature of urban landscape and as an imaginary space.
We will draw on medieval magic, deconstructionism, theories of sub-creation and micro-urbanism, plus a few other things to see how we can map the imaginary crossroads surrounding AC254 and understand the metaphysical landscape of this creative space.
