Xion x Urbsounds: Hlukár + Makkatu + Urbanfailure + Aortic Stenosis

"Urbsounds spolupracuje s umelcami, ktorí zameriavajú svoju pozornosť na opustené časti spoločnosti a reflektujú ich osobitým spôsobom. Všade v tejto dystopickej spoločnosti, v ktorej žijeme, sú jazvy. Urbsounds zbiera špinu, ktorá vyteká z týchto rán, a využíva ju na lisovanie vinylových LP platní a kódovanie digitálnych releasov."

Urbsounds je dlhodobo aktívne bratislavské vydavateľstvo a kolektív zameraný na experimentálnu elektroniku, DIY prístup a živú performatívnu tvorbu. Už od začiatku 2000-tych rokov predstavuje priestor pre autorský zvuk mimo žánrových hraníc – od technických deviacií až po hlukové machinácie. V Puncte sa predstavia tri výrazné projekty, stelesňujúce zvukovú rozmanitosť – Makkatu, Hlukár a Urbanfailure. Lineup bude doplnený lokálnou producentkou Aortic Stenosis.

Urbsounds is a long active Bratislava-based label and collective focused on experimental electronics, DIY approach and live performance. Since the early 2000s, it has been presenting a space for original sound beyond genre boundaries – from technical deviations to noise machinations. Three distinctive projects will perform at Punctum, embodying sonic diversity – Makkatu, Hlukár and Urbanfailure. The evening will be kicked off with a performance by local producer Aortic Stenosis.
