Yuval Gal Cohen is an Israeli anti-Zionist, anti-apartheid activist based in Leipzig. A singer in the band 'Stay Hydrated', a bachelor student of USA studies and a multidisciplinary artist. She has taken part in different initiatives in Israel-Palestine such as the anarchist collective 'Food not Bombs TLV', military service refuser network 'Mesarvot', in the Jewish-Palestinian organization 'Windows - channels for communication' and been active in local struggles against the government. After moving to Leipzig, she co-founded the initiative 'JID - Jüdisch-israelischer Dissens', a network of Jewish Israeli anti-occupation activists striving to change the German discourse about Israel-Palestine and co-founded 'Solicrew Leipzig', a fundraisers production collective for local and international causes, focusing on queer communities of color.
