Komunitní poslechový večer // Community listening session
Představte svou hudbu, tvůrčí proces, oblíbený nástroj nebo, co zrovna posloucháte, čtete, píšete. Svou hudbu můžete zahrát živě nebo jen ze záznamu. Představit můžete i jinou práci nebo vaši inspiraci. Cílem setkání je lépe se poznat a sdílet podněty i vzájemnou podporu.
Introduce your music, your creative process, your favorite instrument or anything you have been listening to, reading or writting lately. You can play your music live or play a recorded track. This time you can present any other related work or inspiration. The aim of the gatherings is to get to know each other better, share inspiration as well as mutual support.
Okomentujte, dovysvětlete nebo nechte beze slov. Řekněte si o zpětnou vazbu. Nebo si přijďte jen poslechnout, co dělají ostatní.

⇨ Pokud si chcete přijít jen poslechnout, není třeba se nijak registrovat. Hudbu nebo jakoukoliv jinou práci můžete přinést na flashce, disku nebo ji poslat předem. Na místě bude počítač, ze kterého hudbu budeme pouštět. Pokud budete chtít hrát živě, zapojíme vás do mixu.
If you would like to participate just as a listener you don’t need to register. You can bring your music or other work on a flash disk, hard drive or you can send us your track via file sharing platforms. On spot we'll have a computer to play it from and a projector. If you want to play live, you’ll be able to plug to the mixer.

We Are Whirling Through Space: The Occulture of Early Electronic Music
While the esoteric influences on the musicians since the seventies is common knowledge, this connection dates back to the beginnings of electronic music. The first experimental tape piece, created in 1944, was based on a recording of an exorcism, and many of the pioneers of the new music looked to esoteric concepts for inspiration and to understand what they were working with. This talk provides an introduction to the esoteric aspects of the work of musician/technicians from the first decades of magnetic tape recording, including Halim El-Dabh, Daphne Oram, and Bebe & Louis Barron.
Sean Regan has a Masters in Sound Studies & Sonic Arts from UdK Berlin, and has been making ritual industrial soundscapes since the early 1990s as The SpiritTrap. His work focuses on exploring psychoacoustic phenomenon and immersive sonic environments. He divides his time between Berlin and the Appalachian mountains of Virginia.

Je místo pro sdílení, tvorbu a experimenty, diskuzi, učení i odnaučování nejen v oblasti zvuku a elektronické hudby. Prostor plný nástrojů, knih a dalších zdrojů zvuků a inspirace. Chceme se společně učit, podporovat se, spolupracovat a naslouchat si s respektem. Reflektovat kontext, společně přetvářet struktury, vytvářet příjemný prostor a testovat nejen nové nástroje, ale i nové myšlenky a způsoby žití a organizování. Provoz Synth Library je možný díky práci dobrovolnicíků, členským příspěvkům a příspěvkům za přednášky a workshopy, které se dělí mezi lektorkyy a náklady na provoz knihovny.
